MODULE 1: Chpt 1.3 Creating Secondary Colours

I really enjoyed this activity. Mixing colour is a real pleasure. I used acrylics throughout and have ommited to note that this is the first time I have ever used acrylics, using colouring pencils and neocolour Caran D'Ache crayons in the past.

I first mixed Yellow (Cadmium) into Red (Alizarin Crimson)

I then repeated the exercise using the same red but using a pale lemon yellow. The difference in colour range was astonishing. Next I  worked Cadmium Yellow with Cerulean Blue. I had thought to use the Prussian Blue but thought it was too dark to start with:

As with the first sample I substituted the cadmium yellow for a pale lemon

Finally I mixed red (Alizarin Crimson) with Cerulean Blue

Then I substituted the Alizarin Crimson with Process Magenta.
