Module 1: Chapter 1.4 Mixing with White and Black

Getting into my stride mixing colours and feeling happier handling the acrylics

WHITE
Firstly I mixed a primary colour with white making the colour paler until I was mostly back to white.  In order I mixed Cadmium Yellow to white, Alizarin Crimson to White, Prussian Blue to white then Cerulean Blue to white. 'Mixing' white was used throughout. If you feel there is a better white to use please let me know.

BLACK

Mixing primary colours with black. Ivory Black used throughout. I mixed both Cerulean and Prussian Blue with black before moving on to create various shades.

Prussian blue, lower colour

It was interesting to note that yellow mixed with a small amount of black turns green.
